Berona Stonedge
Slate graphite
Berona Stonedge is a smooth, flat slate with natural looking dressed edges which make the slate more aesthetically pleasing to the eye of the architect, specifier and home-owner. Berona Stonedge slates are durable and are an economical alternative to natural roofing materials. They are manufactured to the highest European standards and are lightweight, pre-holed and easy to handle and install.
Berona Stonedge slates are produced in accordance with ISO-9001 (Quality Management System), ISO-14001 (Environmental Management System) and carry the Environmental Protection Declaration EPD-CEM-2012211.
Berona Stonedge slates are manufactured using Portland cement together with a non-asbestos formulation of superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres. The slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. Berona Stonedge slates conform to class B in strength, the highest classification for fibre cement slates which are manufactured in accordance with European Norm EN429 – the European Standard for the manufacture of fibre cement slate. They are finished with a high quality semi-matt acrylic coating to the top face and edges, with a tinted high performance binder applied to the back face.
Berona Stonedge slates carry a 20-year colour and 30-year structural warranty when fixed in accordance with the latest versions of SR 82 Irish Code of Practice for slating and tiling and BS5534.
