Cembrit Berona Structured

Textured surface, dressed edge fibre cement roof slate available in 60*30 & 50*24

Berona Structured slate has an appearance very close to that of natural slate. Its attractive riven surface and natural dressed edges make it an ideal solution for situations where a traditional appearance is important. Like all fibre cement slates, Cembrit Beroan Structured is lightweight, pre-holed and easy to cut with hand tools meaning nuisance dust is eliminated. Furthermore, as with other fibre cement slates, Cembrit Westerland does not need to be graded and sorted like natural slate, enhancing its cost competitiveness with natural roof slate.

Beroan Strucutred slates are manufactured using Portland cement, superior blended synthetic and cellulose fibres and hard-wearing surface coatings. Westerland slates are pigmented during production and are fully compressed. Cembrit fibre-cement slates are high-quality fibre cement products for new and refurbishment projects on residential, commercial or publicly owned buildings.

A2 non-combustible

Cembrit products are classified in accordance with EN 13501-1 and are fire rated, at a minimum as A2 non-combustible or higher.

Lightweight

At around 1/2 the weight per square meter of a concrete tile, fibre cement slates allow for savings in the roof frame's structure and transport costs.

Cut with hand tools

Scribed and snapped, with hand tools, fibre cement slates are easy to carry and work on the roof. They lend themselves to complex roof shapes with fine detailing.

No dust suppression required

No need for power sources and ground based, water dust suppression. Slates can be worked on the scaffolding and roof slope.

Complex roofs

Easy to fit to verge, dormer, hip, valley abuttment and protrusion. Ideal for the imaginative pitched roof design.

No grading or sorting

No need to grade and sort into thickness batches before commencing slating. Saves time in on-site planning in comparison to natural slates.

Slate appearance

Dressed edge and textured surface that gives a traditional slated roof effect at a lower material cost and faster installation.
